I work as an e-learning project manager in the Centre for Teaching and Learning at the University of the Arts, London. I have extensive experience of managing a variety of e-learning projects from developing and implementing online distance learning degree programmes to development of Web 2.0 educational resources. I am passionate about how technologies support learning and in particular their role in collaborative and social learning.

I am married and have two children – boy/girl twins – who are nearly three. Needless to say, homelife is pretty hectic, but also a lot of fun! In the few but precious moments of ‘me’ time, I run so that I can eat copious amounts of chocolate, play the trumpet, and sadly, watch as much Coronation Street as I can.

My absolute passion (after my family) is white-water kayaking. It scares me silly, I get extremely wet, cold and tired – but wow! I love it!
